This is the most incredibly simple yet profound description of USC I have ever seen. Thanks be to you.......... :thumb:
I think we would beat USC right now, but the Sooners would spank our asses and so would the Canes. JMO
USC loses only 3 votes in the Coaches Poll. They lose only 2 points overall. Which means at least one other voter moved them UP in their poll.
LSU is 32 points behind Virginia...not sure if thats a gain or not. I thought LSU was real close to Virginia last week in this poll. We may have loss ground.
It looks like we have reached that point in the season where a team is not judged on how they perform on the field, but is simply penciled in whereever they were after a victory.
I would not give a damn about the human pollsters except for the fact that they are the ones who determine which teams play where at the end of the season. The way it is shaking out so far after 4 games played is that if LSU ran the table we could still be "in the hunt" for a non BCS bowl. :dis:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/rankings?poll=1 They stay #1 ... This is a ****ing joke and a disgrace to college FB No appreciable drop in their rank ... LSU does the same thing and we drop like a fuccing stone ... CAL WILL BEAT THEIR AZZ NEXT WEEK IN THEIR OWN HOUSE ... AND USC WILL NOT LEAVE THE TOP 5 ... BANK ON IT
Normally I think LSU fans b!tch too much and throw out conspiracy theories, but this is clear cut favorotism and double standard bullsh!t going on here. Too bad we have to wait 2 weeks for the Cal/USC match up.
The only good thing about USC playing Cal in 2 weeks is that LSU will pass up USC in the rankings by that time with its wins over GA and FL. Had USC played this coming weekend, then Ramah is more than likely correct in that USC would drop to maybe 4th overall and still be ahead of LSU, forcing them to lose twice in order for LSU to pass them. LSU wins next weekend, we should be ranked #6 in coaches and #7 or #8 in AP. The Florida win coupled with the USC loss to Cal should propel LSU pass USC in the rankings, and with LSU not losing again, will always be ahead of USC from then to the rest of the season.
