E.Carolina is a better team than Miss St, but shouldn't be in the game with VT, IMHO. Don't know what the deal is, but maybe all the emotion distracted VT in the first half. I would expect to see them pull away about like we did against St. in the second half. That said...their defense hasn't impressed me yet. And their offense hasn't either, with the turnovers. ECU was a bowl team last year, but like I said, they aren't in our league...or VT's. They're about like USM. Now Meechigan?? They got issues!!
ecu has good DL and OL. and a great (butkis candidate) LB. seems like using the option QB at last minute has hurt VT D. ive been surprised how even when glennon gets time, the vt wrs cant get open and he has to dump it. id say msu D is = to ecu D. in retrospect it wouldve been nice to play VT in the first game. i would expect them to make serious adjustments by next week.
Sean Glennon will be devoured by the Tiger D. Hokie running attack looks weak. My confidence grows with each play. If ECU had any semblance of leadership, VT would lose this game. :tigerhead
ECU already has 3 sacks! If VT plays like this againts us, it could get ugly. So far not impressed at all with VT offense.
I agree,I think they will come back and probably win this game. They will also make huge adjustments for next week as well so the tigers better not underestimate them.
