Jackson took two giant swings at Woodson's head. I saw nothing aimed at the neck. And I would have been fine with Jackson getting ejected for that nonsense. But a couple swings to a helmet-clad head is a public display of affection compared to crashing into a guy's knee while he's engaged with another player. Glen is lucky he's walking today.
That was very out of character for Tyson but I wouldn't have flinched if he would have been ejected. Payback next year for sure.
Give me a break, players do dirty things on their own all the time. I think it's a bit far fetched to say he was coached to do that.
Coached or not we will soon see what kind of character the AU Program has. If it wasn't coached then it should be addressed. The video is everywhere and Tuberville will be reviewing game tape. We'll see what he is made of. Never mind, I already know. :nope: o:
:dis: You have no idea what was going through Chaz's head at the moment of the play and I think it is incredibly immature to hope for bad things to happen to him and his family. Look, the way it went down, it was without a doubt a cheap shot. In no way do I ever condone anything like that. Tuberville said that himself. That doesn't mean that it was intentional. The blocking scheme that was utilized on that play called for Ziemba to slide away from Dorsey and block someone else. Then Chaz is free to block Dorsey. He is a true freshman, lined up next to another true freshman, going up against one of the best d-lineman in the country. Things move incredibly fast in the trenches. Had Ziemba slid over, the way Chaz did that block would have been perfectly legal. The only thing that made it illeagal was the fact that Ziemba still had contact with Dorsey. Simply put, he thought Ziemba was sliding over, leaving him free to block that way. Ziemba didn't move over, and it resulted in an incredibly dangerous situation for Dorsey and Chaz feels worse than anybody about it. If you think it was intentional, I'm sorry. And if you think Tuberville condones or that Hugh Nall teaches this sort of thing...you are so blinded by hatred that you have no objectivity at all.
Sorry for the rant. I can get a little heated when somebody wishes bad things to happen to an 18 year old who already feels like crap. I'm reiterating that it was a dirty play the way it happened and I hope to never see anything like that again from an Auburn player.
I hear ya Aubie. An 18 year old that is starting for your school should have some level of intelligence when it comes to football shouldn't he? When he launched sideways into Glenn's knee was he expecting to hear him say "I Give, Quit It!!" The other thing is while I don't believe that it was coached, it is obviously condoned by a coach that I now have ZERO respect for and an organization that has no INTEGRITY.
I am so confused right now. Were there two incidence where Dorsey had to leave the field? After this block on him was he out of the game for good? Also durring what part of the game did this block occure? I really need to slow down on my drinking...lol I thought I remember him going out of the game then comming back in just a few plays later.
I tend to agree, since the player was a freshman who spent much of the game on his rear end. FYI, the only home cooking we got was on the spot in the final drive. Find the link to the other youtube video of the td drive where it shows the wr lined up alongside the guard. There were, in fact, 7 on the line.
