I read a couple of weeks ago that one of the starting LB was suspended forthe LSU game. Not taking up for Fulmer but he has a mess on his hands and needs to take a strong stance.
As the saying goes... you can take'm out the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of them. And by the reaction of the other players, I'd think that game was being played in the ghetto.
Better judgement tells me iIshouldn't ask but what the heck....how do ya'll see this as a lot different as the big LSU player who hit his girlfriend last year? I don't recall the details so maybe I'm off base.
Just as a side note, has there been anything more about Tennesee's decision not to require athletes to attend class?
I found that video to be very disturbing! I guess the NCAA can't be bothered to take a position on players beating the crap out of others (Dvorcek also comes to mind) getting into legal trouble, etc. They are too busy getting their panties in a wad over team mascots. I hope someone equally knocks the **** out of Phat Phil!!! Let's see what he thinks about thugs then.
OK, first of all, the girlfriend was the mother of his child. This was domestic and he didn't hit her closed fist. Next, the player didn't sucker punch anyone. Third, slapping isn't samething, although hitting a girl isn' too cool (no matter how much she was asking for it). Interesting enough, the player in question is from the Auburn area.
