damn, ten years this summer. I remember I was in florida on the beach with my then girlfriend, I left her to go upstairs to watch the game with some friends. I ran out of coke and was drinking tea with my rum. Pretty soon I was out of rum, I was disappointed in the way the tigers were playing in points on the game. Towards the end of the game the rest of my buddies and my girlfriend were all upstairs watching the game. When the homerun came we all went crazy and I opended the sliding glass door to the condo and screamed TIGERS WIN, TIGERS WIN.

After the game went to a local resturant and locked one of my buds INSIDE the car - he couldn't get out - damn rum.

We went to the FLORA-BAMA later that night and one of the bands noticed my lsu t-shirt and mentioned the game and the crowd went wild. Later that night i met one of the DJ's from 98.1 and he said to call him when we all got back to BR and he repalyed that magic moment over the radio. I was able to tape it and played the cbs final moments over my cassette player numerous times while on my move to South Dakota.

I met numerous people during my 1 year living in that state and they mostly wanted to talk LSU baseball. Later i moved back to BR and married my girlfriend, we have been together almost 9 years - we have a great time together. But, I stay away from the rum that crap will make you crazy.
I wish I could find that cassette tape.

Sorry for this lond post - great memories.

I remember where I was too when I saw that game.

My husband wanted to go see Three Dog Night at the casino in Natchez, I told him the only way I would go would be if I could be able to watch the game on the tv there. I called the casino and they told me I could.

So when we got there, I went upstairs to the bar and asked the bartender if he would put the tv on the game, we found the channel and then he looked at me and said "So you're a LSU fan ( I was wearing it), he was being a smarty butt about it. He told me we wasn't gonna win, I told him that we were gonna let Miami smell victory and then snatch it away.

Well anyways LSU wasn't playing well so I proceded to start drinking heavily and these two old men from the poker table kept telling that bartender to ask me what the score was. I told him to go tell the two old men I wasn't talking to them.

At this time there was no one upstairs in the bar yet but me and two other old men. By now, I was really getting drunk and cussing too.

A little while later my husband came back upstairs to check on me and the next thing I knew there was a whole room full of LSU fans to watch the game. We all had on our rally caps, and when Warren Morris hit that ball we all went nuts. I walked over to the table where the two men were sitting playing poker and just said to them, "I told you".

After the concert that night, when everyone was leaving, someone started hollering LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! LSU! and the entire crowd went nuts again. It was great.

I have that game on tape, and I watch it several times when I am going through withdrawels when I don't get to see LSU! play.

Wow! Everyone remembers. I was in a hotel room in Washinton, DC. My husband had to go there on business, and I went along for a vacation. We had just checked into the hotel that afternoon, but I wouldn't go anywhere because I had to watch the game. (One of his few days not working while he was there, but I still wouldn't leave the tv.) He pretty much had to scrape me off the ceiling I was jumping around so much.

I watched the clip just last week and he just laughed at me because once again, I got so excited!
