    Yeah kind of felt this coming. Too bad we couldn't get another couple of quality years out of him. Will be an all time favorite for some Saints fans.

    Interesting. He is a favorite of Payton, so I wouldn't be surprised if they give him a role within the organization

    But Payton really likes Vitt too. I don't think he'd get rid of him to make room for Vilma, but with his intellect, credibility, and charisma he seems to be a natural for coaching if he's inclined. I hope so. That would be a better use of his talent than becoming another network talking head.

    No, he's not going to give him Vitt's job, but I wouldn't be surprised if he finds something for him.
    Use the money to help re-sign Graham.

    I see Vilma as a TV analyst somewhere. He's very polished and smart.....and he can wear his Super Bowl ring during broadcasts to add credibility to his analysis. Television networks love that.
