I feel like there is about a 70-80% chance he goes, seeing as he will have a hard time topping what he accomlished to finish this season, and the pro scouts are salivating over him. If he stays he becomes the heisman front-runner like Brady Quinn was this season.
I thought the best example was the Tenn. game. I remember the announcers saying the DE that hit him was 6' 6" and 260 lbs., JUST LIKE JR!
He did get hit as he threw it in the Tennessee game, but it was right into the Tennessee players hands who dropped it. Thats the one i remember but I'm sure we'll see a couple more highlight throws against that ND defense.
Thanks for all of the replies guys. I am keeping me eye open for the video just with no luck yet. I would like to see him come back next year and have him and McFadden frontrunners for the Heisman. As for our game today......as a Vol fan, I apologize to all SEC fans. Once again Fulmer and Co. took us into a bowl game unprepared. :bncry: A horrible tradtion as of late (minus the drubbing of Texas A&M 2 years ago). We aren't calling for his head or anything (at least I'm not) but it sure is frustrating.:angryfire
I passed by the volnation forum and sweet mother are there a lot that are. But anyways, great game today! Good luck in future endeavors.
After the lousy off season Fulmer spent last year with the poor record and with NOT going to a bowl game, I really don't understand why Fulmer didn't go way out of his way to make sure that the Vols were fired up for this game. Not that I care that much about the VOLS losing, but the VOLS should have easily handled Penn State in this game.
Yea, I post there occassionally and I just have to overlook some of those posters. I don't think it is out of the question to ask for a visit to Atlanta every 3-4 years with a win there every other visit (on average of course). Good game psulions, you guys came out prepared and ready.:thumb:
I believe that is the mindset that the Vols players had and thought PSU should just hand the game to them and move on. Similar to our 2 Peach Bowls a few years back against Maryland and the Clemson.:angryfire EDIT: And I am hoping that the Tigers don't do the same in the Sugar.
^Gotta be careful with that in general with any team. The only blowout we had was ND OSU game was 28-6 but that was with two desperation interceptions at the end of the game UM game was 17-10. Wisconsin game was 13-3. The only one not on the road was the UM game. We played them tough, and it really wasn't "out there" to expect us to play tough, though we were slow in the "Games we were supposed to win (i.e. MSU; YSU)". With Tenn I think we were finally motivated (especially seeing Morelli's unusual excitement and improvement) to win a game against a ranked opponent. Tenn was a good team, no doubt.
it was the UT game and it was xavier mitchell the defensive end, 93. my memory is wasted on crap like this yet i couldnt tell you my blackberry number.
