First off, a Vol fan calling someone classless is hilarious. I guess cheering when Buster Davis nearly gets his knee blown out on that fair catch punt is the epitome of class. Second, Miles was just jacked up on emotion when speaking to Tracy Wolfson at the start of the 2nd half. I didn't think what he said was classless. Miles might not be the best public speaker of all time, but he is without a doubt one of the classiest coaches in the SEC. Just goes to show once again that Tennessee fans are clueless and hypocritical. LINK
Yes it's mostly about his halftime interview. Talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill, his response was pretty good if you ask me. Imagine Vol fans getting their feelings hurt because a football coach says "play our ass off", what a bunch of sissies.
I don't think the Tennessee fans should really want a tit for tat on who is classless. They shouldn't go there. For now, I'll stop, but there is a plenty of historical fodder with regard to being classless in Tenn. Oh, and by the way, deliberately trying to break the knee and career of a player who is extremely classy seems slightly worse than a coach demonstrating some emotion with his words.
Many of the Vol fans recognized Miles comment for what it was. A fired up coach responding to a dumb question by the sideline twat.
