Mett has the physical tools, but he has absolutely no pocket awareness and is a deer in the headlights under pressure. He also has a putrid OL and a WR corp that drops a lot of very catchable balls. The competition is about to much much tougher. If the team continues to play like it did in the last two games it will fall far short of preseason expectations.
I posted this earlier, in jest: "Well, we could make it interesting if we were to combine all those traits that we've seen just in these past two seasons: 1. Sleepwalking for the 1st half 2. Turnovers 3. Dropped passes 4. Running same play to the point of boredom 5. Staying on our half of the field for as long as possible 6. Creating multiple personal fouls 7. Allowing CLM to go to the wrong sideline Unfortunately--and not my fault--the team delivered on #1 thru #6. ( I didn't catch the entry into D.V., so maybe #7 came true too???? 0
Zach played like JJ minus the running ability. But he isn't afraid to get hit. The OL really needs to step up.
Shepard 1 carry 78 yards. He must have got sent home afterwards. I swear Miles pulled out the full retard hat this year.
We Stat of the night: Towson - 188 yards rushing. LSU - 158 (78 of which were on ONE play. Take that away and we only have 80 yards rushing against the vaunted and feared Towson D)
