I'd like to see if Sabanfan feels the same way about Ted Kennedy, or perhaps Muslims or anyone that makes bad decisions he doesn't happen to agree with.

Ask me whenever Ted Kennedy or a Muslim becomes President of the United States.

Fine, what if John Kerry were President. Would you pray for him because of how much he would be criticized?

not really, nlmd is right. this is really a dumb thread mainly because i knew where it was headed after reading 2 sentences. But when i got to the love poem I thought maybe not then I scrolled to the great picture. Then I began praying for bush.

    not the president, just bush.

i respect the office as well but thats pretty weak.

Yes, but only if it is neatly trimmed.

That's because you youngsters have never been through what war veterans have, otherwise you wouldn't be so flippant about something a lot of Americans take real seriously. Just keep on living well in that cushy little cocoon of yours and I hope you never have to learn what it is to actually have your ass on the line in order to defend those freedoms.:911:

Luckily we'll have a whole other generation of Nam-like vets pretty soon that will also have a tenuous grasp on fighting to defend your country (or whateverthehell purpose the Commander in Chief tells you it's for.):eek:lefire:

There were a lot of guys with that attitude when I was younger. They've been living in Canada for about 35 years now.
