Sadly, just as bad intelligence lead the US to no WMD's, we were unable to find oil in Iraq. . .

Man, it's 2.12 here in Houston and that BP explosion last week will only make it worse if they're down for a long period of time. I think I saw 30% of American refined oil comes through there.

We need a war for beer. Specifically, Mexican beer this time of year. Corona and Negra Modela should be free.

i took this test which showed i had a 157 iq in economics yet i still can't figure out this supply/demand thing with gas prices. I've had this sneaking suspicion for 20 years we're being duped.

who should we bomb to lower prices? saudi I think would be a good place. sorry ramah and wrap that whale.

    VIVA LA REVOLUTION!

    Un cerveza fria, por favor.

Mr. Cuervo won't be able to escape our wrath, either.

After Mexico, I say we branch out to Canada (Crown Royal) and France (Grey Goose).

Sure, i know what you'll say, Crown Royal is a Seagram product, and only the BRAND is candian whiskey. But they look like they could use a good invading anyway. . .

And heck, France we could have by the end of the weekend. . .

We did find the oil for food program though, how about the UN and all its
bad influence, its betrayal of the good ole USA.
It's mighty funny to me that no one seems to care about this subject.
Everyone, especially on the left overlook the UN and its problems and
go after the good ole USA.
It fits their agenda, attacking the USA while ignoring or barely mentioning
    the UN.

I've heard that we haven't built a refinery in this country in over 20 years.
We are now paying for the environmentalists and there efforts to save
us from killing ourselves with pollution.
Let's not forget all the big forest fires we now have that pollute since we
can no longer trim forests either.

I lived in Alaska twice for a total of 6 years, my dad worked on the pipeline.
All you heard about in the 70's was global cooling, pipeline would endanger
or kill animals, drilling in ANWAR would destroy the animals, wilderness.
Quite the opposite is the case, After the pipeline was put in they discovered
that the animals loved hanging out around the pipeline because it gave off
some heat to help keep them warm, it also provided shelter that goes on
for the 800 miles from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez.

PS: Tirk, We are being dupped and its our own fault! :thumb:

Hell, I wish we HAD gone to war for oil.

I'm routinely paying 30 bucks to fill up my Grand Prix right now...this shuffling back & forth between BR & New Orleans is eating me alive. Good thing I'm moving back to BR this month.

We are about to send more folks over there to train the Iraqi locals to defend themselves.

Some people are saying that the tide is turning in our favor over there.
