To be fair, with our current offense roster, scoring 36 against UGA is about as good as anyone could expect. I hear what you are saying, and I wish we hadn’t settled for 5 FGs, but big picture, we won, won big, and won against the #2 team scoring 36 points, all earned by the offense. Pretty damn good if you ask me.
And that was due to defense. Gawga hasn't played a real team thus far, they came in and did. Got held to 16 points. That's on the LSU defense. Not because of the LSU offense. We kicked FG's all day. I'll take it, but E in is way over his head.
OK, it's disappointing not to score at least a couple more TD'S for those 5 trips to the red zone but we did move the chains pretty consistently all day. Have to look at the time of possession but our defense was well rested throughout the game. We score 36 points. 3 more TD's instead of FG's would have translated to 48. Nobody here or in the media believed we could score 36 against the UGA D.
