1. @LaSalleAve, @mobius481 Both of you are correct, not to mention it was Les' first game with LSU, and I believe, LSU's opening series of the game. He set the tone early.
  2. That took some nuts.
  3. That Florida game is arguably the best regular season game in LSU history. I know the old hats are gonna bring up the Halloween game in 59 vs Ole Miss.

Jacob Hester will always be remembered for that game, along with being such a key player in our championship run.

Also, as much as we hate Perrilloux for making us endure the Jordan Jefferson years, we don't win that NC without him.
  4. Not sure if he actually called that ASU fake punt, but I believe he trained the special teams to go for it if they saw the opportunity...and it was most definitely there.

We also scored a blocked punt return for a TD and a blocked FG returned for a TD in that game, talk about special teams taking over.

  5. It wasn't the greatest of starts for Les Miles at LSU.

We almost lost a game we should have probably won easily (ASU). Then we lose in OT in the clock management debacle game vs Tennessee. Then we run the table until the SEC CG, when we simply ran out of gas due to the hurricane pushing the Auburn game into our late season BYE slot.

  6. I was at that game and it was f'n awesome. What's crazy is the thing I remember most about it is how the crowd went absolutely bananas when they announced that USC had lost. That game was definitely the loudest I've ever been to.
  7. I still think it is amazing that we were even in the ASU and UT games all things considered. We ran out of gas vs UT and vs UGA. I still think that season was the best coaching job I had ever seen.

The N Texas game was the one that was moved I believe, not Auburn.

  8. I will always feel privileged to have seen Jacon Hester play for LSU... That guy was the definition of "Heart".
  9. That was the same game he called a TO after Landry intercepted. On the fake though, was it "called" or Az's alignment let our players know it was an automatic.

    Tyson Jackson, Glen Dorsey, man...

That game day had a lot of memories. OrlandoTiger giving everyone Tebow's cell (which is cheesy but her doing it was hilarious). Tebow calling baton rouge to the student body, KrystalLSU's jello shots, Nootches Keiland Williams jersey, the announcement and crowd reaction to Stanford over USC.
  10. How do you put that @ with a user's name in it?
