Who would pull the trigger on this? The Board of Supervisors? The days of McKeithen, Dore' and Cuzzamano (sic) are gone. There aren't 3 people on that board who know a football field is 100 yards long. I'm sure by now most of them have been appointed by Baboo, our current governor.

    Skip.

Folks forget the last time that school plane with a big "M" landed in Baton Rouge, Miles boarded with his signed intentions to negotiate coaching the big house. The board had a copy of that letter before the ink was dry. They chose to keep the leader at all cost and handed him the keys to Tiger Stadium. It's his team folks and you can believe he is driving this train. It ends when he says it ends. Not many college head football coaches have been handed that level of power. Miles owns this thing more than most think.

Now. Promote Miles to AD? That can be done. Alleva would roll before Miles given the leverage. Skip mighta said it already. I personally believe Miles could be a fine AD for LSU. He could keep the hat too.

Kick him upstairs? That's what bureaucratic, lazy and underachieving organizations do. I like it.
