Yep, which is why a pay only for minimum. No guarantee of average bandwidth. Plus I live in the sticks so not much competition for value added service.
Y'all are lucky. My only option at my house is AT&T DSL. I top out at about 1.5 maps, when it works. Pretty frustrating, but that's the price you pay for living in the country.
Dude, I almost don't watch TV anymore. Really sucks but need to be here, Dad has Alzheimer's. Don't spend much time on the Internet either bc it's so slow. Satellite Internet is way expensive last I checked.

Friends discount; no other sp is better than is down there... If you have it today I can hook you up with an update. 1gig should be coming soon to Baton Rouge and Nola; also check out countour 2; it kicks Netflix, Hulu and whatever other those providers are and you can take it with you like you can watch Netflix anywhere... Which includes live streaming of all sports... Yep Cox finally caught on...
