    Yes,

we were spoiled by a weak non-conference schedule that made
this team looked better than advertised.
we were spoiled by a team with NO leader
we were spoiled by a team that scored 10 points in a half
we were spoiled by a team that lost 5 out of 6
we were spoiled by a confused team
we were spoiled because we couldn't compete against Miss St and couln't beat Auburn once either

This is the way LSU basketball should be so lets just leave it at that and be happy, It was a successful season!:D

Man, SD, you completely missed my point and the point of this entire thread. We actually agree that this was a disappointing season. If we had the next 2 or 3 seasons with this season's results, you would have a valid complaint. Nobody, including myself is happy or content with this season. I just accept it because of the circumstances. You, apparently, are not willing to accept it and insist on finding a scapegoat. If Brady were to be fired and a new coach brought in it would be at least 2 years before we get to where we are right now.

We actually won that game so it points up that you can not be satisfied. Agree?

    SabanFan,

Maybe I did miss the point then, I was actually responding to the
    name of the thread.
I didn't understand how Saban could've been spoiling us when
this season has been up and down like a rollercoaster and this
team lost 5 out of 6.
I actually scanned your post but wasn't responding to it.

I'm getting excited though because my ESPN fullcourt package has
been useless since the Florida game, they didn't have LSU on once but I'm going to watch as much conference tourneys as I can

We did win that game but it was only to point out that our season
wasn't as successful as others thought IMO
In other words.... How could Saban be spoiling us when we score
    10 points in a half.

    Nothing more was meant!:D

Does anybody understand the point I was trying to make? ;)

what?????? 2 or 3 seasons to get where we are now......only if they hired a 3rd grader.......this team has talent........the right coach can put together the right game plan and they will win......you know maybe looking at the pro coaches and assistants may not be a bad idea........saban came from pros and has done great at the college level.........

I just don't think we deserve the right to complain as much as we are when the PMAC is usually half full. Even when the football team was bad we still filled it up. Hell, a week after we lost to UAB we set a Louisiana Sporting Event Attendance Record.

I hope you read my post!:)
I no longer live in Louisiana so I can't go to the games so I can
    Complain?
Someone who lives in Baton Rouge can't?
    Or no one can?

btw, whats your point above got to do with Saban spoiling us because of the points I made about this team on my other post.

I thought it was rediculous to say that when this team lost thier
    last 5 out of 6!

that's what a winning tradition does.......it stimulates loyalty even during the low points........paul dietzel and charlie mac cemented in place a tradition to die for (plus the fact that football has always been big in the south).........no reason this can't happen with basketball as has been shown at duke and indiana.......

    Guys,
The football stadium was hardly full during the Hallman years. Too many LSU frontrunners around. I am certain all state schools suffer from that when the team is winning.
