Its unstoppable at this point I am afraid. We have entered an age where logic, science and facts are not apart of the conversation. Instead, we are headed towards laws made strickley by our emotional baggage.

That is why the erosion of the 60 vote super majority to end debate in the senate it so problematic. Without it simple majority passes laws and thoughtful legislation goes out the window and the mob rules. Both republicans and democrats will rue the day.

Because they refuse to work with each other. That is the bigger problem.

Its not that, its radical socialism vs capitalism. It's all power in government against people who believe in our founding documents. How do you compromise with socialist who want to fundamentally transform America?

They constantly work together but only to enrich themselves.

    Solution: congressional term limits.

Them not working together is a result of them being shills for their major contributors. The way you rise to the top of the house or senate has nothing to do with being a leader and civil servant these days and everything to do with being a fundraiser. Republicans and Democrats both want their base pissed off not happy, so they won’t do anything to make them happy except point the finger at the other side. It’s grown tired. Something has to be done about campaign finances.
