Uh, my dad started school in 66 and was forced to shave his head. He is still bald today... at least on the top. But your point is taken...

You are probably right about the ROTC thing, I don't know when it ended, I just know my dad had to do it when he was in school.

    Don't know about the curfew's

I was just making reference of how stupid some of the students sound when they say Tigerband is taking away decades old traditions. Half of them don't even know about the majority of the real traditions and that what they are screaming about hasn't been around that long and that this is precedent setting maneuvers by the band department. They had taken Tiger Rag away before. There was a reason after it came back in 2000 we never played the full thing in Tiger Stadium, besides on the field, except by mistake of a Graduate Assistant.

Oh Student Government, always so positive... :rolleye33:

Plain and simple, if this works (which it probably won't), the student section might stop for a game or two, but before you know it they'll be back to their old ways. Even though Tiger Rag hadn't been played for years, the student section knew exactly what to do when TGBFTL started playing it again in 2001.

    Wrong.
We partcipated in one in 83. In fact I still had my "booty" until my first marriage. They hung on the wall of my room along with my LSU pennant from 1974. :D

I think if the students want to continue their chants maybe they should come up with something tasteful and mature. Doesn't seem to be too much to ask.
