To be fair, weren't 14 points from the fumbled punt and the deep INT return? If not for that, it would not have been that close. LSU's D played very well overall.
yep and the kickoff return for 21 points Our D really only gave up 8 points in essence (the last TD and 2 pt conversion). And the ref calling the bogus interference call in the endzone should have prevented one of the gift touchdowns into only a FG (which he probably would have missed).
I didn't expect our special teams which has been a great strength this season to muff and turn over the ball for a td nor did I believe they would give up a return td all in the same game. I don't see that happening again which is what we need to make sure does not happen again when we go against AU and Bama.
