The now is officially dead. This is one of the last times (supposedly) you should see this. The university said they decided not to continue with the "Now" after the contract expired.
What? You mean this doesn't want to make you put down your bag of Doritos and apply to LSU immediately? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DnIEjdkc8k Edit: Here's a link to the Reveille article discussing the campaigns untimely demise: http://www.lsureveille.com/home/ind...Story_id=00329598-5e6e-4922-9398-d25d205b470d
Major universities just shouldn't have jingles in their commercials that privilege should be reserved for DeVry, ITT Tech, the Diesel Driving Academy, and ULL.
"I just threw up in my mouth a little bit" Longest 3:53 of my life. Couldn't finish ASU's. Started feeling like the guy in "Scanners", about to pop.
I hate to say it, but i even like the University of Florida one. This Evo Devo crap has always been a piece of junk. I can't believe some one here at LSU could even think that was a good way to attract attention.
Compare the UofF commercial to the LSU Evo Devo crap. At least the Florida one promote the University. Florida -- http://youtube.com/watch?v=j9FcrQrjdNw Evo Devo -- http://youtube.com/watch?v=1DnIEjdkc8k
Wow, as a student at LSU, let me just say, "Evo Devo" was an embarrassment to all LSU fans. The campaign was VERY unpopular on campus, and few of the students actually liked it. In my opinion it hurt LSU's reputation and the video and song are horrific. I wish LSU would do something ALL LSU fans could be proud of, maybe play up the great athletics, the academic programs, the die-hard fans, and its amazing network of alumni. There is SO much more to the university than a mediocre rock band and bad lyrics. JMO though....and I actually like Florida's Go Gators video.
The only thing Evo Devo did for the students was give them free t-shirts. I'm all for clothing the financially disabled.
The UF one looks like a rip of an Auburn one from a while back, or vice-versa. Still kinda cheezy. Would much rather see success demonstrated with real facts presented in a visually captivating way. Or suckin heads on crawfish. Either way I'm a happy alumn. Later, Fur
Well, to be honest... we don't have the capacity to care, really. Welcome to America where we have the attention spans of.... Wait, what were we talking about again?
