Not evenly. The participating teams gets all of its expenses covered and 2/13 of the remaining amount. The other 11 teams get 1/13.
I want the highest ranked opponent available. If that means 11-1 Michigan St, cool. If that means 10-2 team from the Big 12, cool.
The Cotton Bowl is now played in Jerry World (Cowboys Stadium) at its a night game now I believe. Its also a Friday night. As a Dallas resident I hope we make that game.
I want the Peach. I live in Atlanta & we will get an ACC opponent that we may actually have a chance at beating.
i would like the cotton. i am rooting for nebraska to beat OU because i like their team but would rather play them than OU. however, i'd be happy with A&M as well. i wonder if they know we're invited, will they turn the invite down because they still have sand in their clams. i hate A&M.
For those that missed it. It's the only game played that day, a night game, on Friday night, and in Jerryworld. I'd prefer the Cotton over the Cap1.
Cap One would be better... later date which means more time for preparation. If we went to the Cotton it'd give us a whole week to prepare. And more payout... we'll need some extra casdh to pay a new OC. But the most important reason is preparation. We NEED that month to get healthy and learn the fundamentals of football again.
