In the federal budget 15 million is nothing. Hell, the whole amount is chump change. This is not a money issue.

It's not a money issue. And in the end Nancy and Chuck will appropriate the funds and tell degenerate Trump supporters to kiss their asses. It's symbolic - and something to rally around.

Sad to think that many people have never heard of a ladder or a tunnel. Gigantic waste of money.

Ladders are not going to provide the scope of opportunity that currently exists without the wall. And tunnels already exist without it. That's not going to increase and the US has gotten quite a bit better at detecting those tunnels.

I live in an area where there are a lot of gated communities. Do people still climb the walls and break through the gates? Without a doubt. But is it at a significantly less pace than open neighborhoods? Without a doubt.

We can even reduce it back to the basic relationship level. If you're trying to talk to somebody and they give you the hand, can they actually hear you if you continue to talk? Of course they can. But is what you're saying getting through? No chance.

The people we need to be worried about will still find a way through wall or not. If anything this will is going to give some stupid false sense of security that really doesn’t exist. Walls have been put up for ages, they work against tribal peoples and Barbarians until the Mongols. Now they are just a waste of money.

Yeah, banks should just set up canopies like lemonade stands. Walls don’t work.

Nancy, Chuck, and the Democrats are throwing a temper tantrum. Still bitter Trump won the election. It’s not about the money.

    Actually they still work today.

The key point you are missing is that when you limit the entry points, it becomes MUCH easier to focus on the key areas.

El Paso's wall/Fence in Texas had a massive difference in crossings.

Further, I would like to see any of you guys that thinks its easy to carry a 10ft+ ladder across a desert. Or how well you are at digging tunnels. On the places with fences and walls, we have infrared motion detection cameras. Walls work and they work well.
