That was a nice article. I didn't realize we were that solid. It doesn't seem like we progress far in the tourney recently.

probably because mid majors are more senior laden teams and have begun to play a major role in the tournament... Can you imagine if we were to have Bass as a senior, Davis as a junior, Taz, Garrett and Tyrus as Soph's?

The article didn't say we are 2nd in the RPI, the writer just sliced and diced the numbers to make it come out the way he wanted.

We are 4th in the RPI ... Big 10, Big East, ACC, SEC.

Maybe we're finally not "Kentucky and everybody else"....Perhaps the talent level has started evening out??? and Kentucky finally has ledgit challengers in the conference?

it said exactly what he said.. that we have 6 teams in the top 60 which is only 2nd to the Big east. It is the amount of teams that get in that the conference should be worried about.

i'd say the % of teams in a conf that get in are important, not the # so much.

i disagree, you always hear what number get in and how many games they win.. win loss is always looked at in the tourney on how conferences do

One thing about the Big East, they have 7200 members, thus inflating their teams in the tourny.
