FREE MONEY. Unless the Saints pick in the top 10 no team will be be dumb enough to pick this undersize white boy in the 1st round much less the top 10 picks which is where CW will be chosen. And Im sure the Saints want their 20th D-Lineman before getting secondary starters. Bet him Spears will go ahead of Greene too, see if he bites. Actually he (Pollack) and Big Ben may be closer in rank of where they fall in the draft I think. DP will go late first early second at best as will Ben. Pollack's motor will finally stop running at the combine.
Agreed about Ben, in fact Carter from Oklahoma may get picked ahead of Ben, depending on what a team is looking for more, size or speed. I like the Pollack line:lol: , I've always hated that "motor is always running" term.
You, Sir, Have Just Won Yoseff a Cool $100 No way does Pollack go in the first round. He's a tweener. My guess is second round at best to a team that has multiple second round picks. Webster is a GUARANTEED top ten pick, regardless of who's picking. there just aren't that many lockdown corners out there.
Pollack was a possible 1st round pick last year...with another good year he wont last until the 2nd round.
he is a possible late first rounder next year as well, he just won't be. motor of the year will need overhauling.
IMO he looks like the typical Saints first round pick where everyone at the draft will be scratching their heads and asking What? Did they really waste a first round pick on that guy when he will probably be available in the third? Pollack is a quality SEC player and nothing more, he will disappear in the NFL very similar to the way he does in big games at the college level. I really don't see what all the big fuss about this guy is all about.:dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: :dis:
Webster will be a high first round pick, quite likely the first CB taken. Pollock won't be the first DE taken and probably not the second or third either. You might want to try to get your sucker friend to up the bet to $500 or $1000.
the freaking saints didnt even try to get Derrek Strait or Will Poole (who was USC's only player to show on defense in the Rose Bowl) yet they get a backup DE. they have more freaking depth on the D line than anywhere. typical saints. ashley ambrose who is about 35 yrs old? fred thomas--average at best. jay bellamy (AWFUL). your franchise player is a DE so why not get another.
too much history with Miami so someone will take Rolle first. almost a guarantee...if he can stay out of trouble from here on out which is almost a guarantee he won't.
