Was watching ESPN and they did a story on Weis' final interview with selected media members in South Bend. If you'll notice in the interview Weis is asked if his comments are nothing more than "sour grapes". Weis responds by asking the reporter for said grapes so that he had something to nibble on during the interview.
Wow, I'd trade shoes with him anyday as long as I can keep my weight! He's going to be paid well with his next job as well!
Seems like a classless act by Weis. Nobody has made CPC private life an issue. He is not out there making a bazillion dollars advertising and selling this squeeky clean image like Tiger did. He just went in and coached a football team. I think Weis is WAY out of line. ND puts Weis down for being a bad coach, so Weis has to put down someone else because he can't live with his shame? That's pathetic. You can't pick yourself up by putting someone else down. You have to go out and try again and try to do better. I sure don't want Weis as an OC at our school.
I don't think you have anything to worry about. I saw on the ESPN ticker a week ago that some NFL teams were interested in his services before he was fired. Don't know if its true or not but I do believe some team in the NFL will want him and pay him more than what we can afford.
But alot of people think they can. "how do i make myself look good? hmmm, I can make fun of that guy and i'll look better." sad.
