Despte the hilarity of that fark, yes I'm sure. I'm no fan of Jimmy but every player who had an opportunity to interact with him at the AAA game last January had nothing but good things to say. Within the player's circle, he's respected and considered well liked. No doubt he's prolly not familiar with 151 but an Appletini? :nope: :hihi:
Okay, i was kidding, still shocked by the wjiskey and natty. However, this may be him. (language)
You may be right but Big Chuck sounds stupid trying to rationalize what happened. Personally I believe that the drinking age should be 18. If you are going to send an 18 year old kid into the desert and ask him to die for his country, he/she should be able to have a beer when they return. Just my two cents.
"I think it's out of ignorance -- and by ignorance I mean lack of knowledge," Weis said....... after the domers suffer yet again another bowl loss
i dont think its a lame law. if you want to curb underage drinking, this law should be in place. ok,i get the situation with a son driving his father, but that wasnt the case here. what, do we beleive that jimmy wasnt gonna have a taste? thats what weis failed to mention, of course, that while the law may not be perfect, the point is that jimmy was gonna break another law and drink underage.
So, if the people in the dorm right next to you already had a few in them, and needed a ride to the store to get more, it is better in that state for one of them to drive themselves instead of getting someone younger to drive.
i get your point but ive never bought in to those types of arguments. sort of like being against abortion because itll cause women to do it themselves.
He basically got a ticket for giving someone a ride. I used to drive my drunk older sister around pretty regularly, and I wasn't off age. Hell, I'd even give her a lift through Drive up Daquiri stores.. I have no clue how abortion is even closely related to letting an older friend hitch a ride with you to a liquor store.
