I would hope the Tulane game replaces one of the existing three out of conference games and that the "12th game" each year is against a more respectable out of conference opponent.

I like seeing Tulane on the schedule as well. I do believe it should be a 2 for 1 deal though.

I am suddenly having fond memories of being in the student section and being one of hundreds throwing cups at the male Tulane cheerleader who was always bold enough to wave his flag right in front of us.

    Good call.

I know that Georgia Tech does that so UGA fans dont take all the tickets.

Tulane will without doubt do that

Tulane has 12,000 fans total. Not a problem.

I think its a good deal.. it may not do a whole lot for SOS, but at least its right down the road where damn near everyone can go...

Tulane enjoyed its greatest success against the Tigers between 1920 and 1940 when the Green Wave won 12 of 20 games, including LSU's first game in Tiger Stadium in 1924.

Wow, that's an interesting tidbit of trivia.

    What's the big deal?

New Orleans will be great - don't bombard me with a million reasons why New Orleans is not conducive to tailgating. Deal with it - it will be fun. This is not something to get worked up about.

I tell you one thing, Tulane won't leave us high and dry by backing out of a deal like some other schools. This will be locked in. Remember how close we were to missing the BCS because of schedule reneging?

Also, this will be an "Away Game" every other year. Just look at it like an extra home game every other year without having to get on an airplane or drive 1,000 miles...

At least it'll let us remind them every year that no matter what happens in baseball, they're still our b***h. :thumb:
