well i wasn't there and i don't know what i am talking about but Pittman was definately right. Everyone knows its impossible for football players to be irrational ego-maniacal pricks.

well besides the one directly above being cynical the other is saying Chase had the wrong dude and laid him out. so that would be really nice, eh.

that was my attempt to sarcasticly say that its not unusual for people who are freakishly big and strong and who incessantly have their asses kissed by everyone they meet to think that they live under a different set of rules than the rest of us.

...and alot of guys who are talking so tough on this board have never been jumped by a 6'4 270 pound dude. what if it wasn't even the right guy? what if there was no "right guy" in the first place? no one really seems to know the truth.

Bottom line is that Pittman should have used a little common sense and not knocked anyone out. Even if there was a punk acting out of line, Pittman is big enough to have dealt with it in a cool way. Scare the crap out of the guy and move on.

All clear now - I had trouble catching your tone.

I agree with you. You should post more often...

I disagree. This whole thread is starting to make me sick. I can't believe some of the stuff I am reading.

Just got further information- talked to one of the guys who went with him to the hospital.
Basically he said the same stuff I said before, except that now I know who the guy was who was aggravating the girl (he is a really aggravating drunk, so it makes more sense). This guy looks almost nothing like the guy who got hit, except that they're both kind of small. The guy who got hit and the aggravating guy hang around each other, but the guy who got hit had nothing to do with the girl.

Pittman saw him outside, punched him in the face, and as what was described to me as a "1-2 combo like in a video game", kicked him in the head as he was on the way down, then left him there.

If you have a different version of what happened, then please, let me know.

i respect your dissent and am sick from all of the base-less speculation but, that said, i think the trend of football players knocking out people in bars is well documented. is it always the other guy's fault?
