Hey, atleast our guy wasn't selling weed, stealing, or screwing underage girls. Good for him if he was truely just standing up for her. If I had of been arrested every time I got into a bar fight, I wouldn't be here now. Worst case, I believe, would be a two or three game suspension. I'm glad to see that he has balls. Too many kids now days are scared to get in a scrape. I hope they are not too hard on him.

    Another "tempest in a teapot"......

I have ZERO sympathy for anyone who gets the absolute crap kicked out of him for groping and harassing a woman.

The guy who got his ass whipped is compalining about his swollen eye and abdominal pain. Well, Boo F--king Hoo.

I understand this is a lot different then some stuff that happens at Tenn or Florida State or whatever and it is an isolated incident, but it is serious. Everyone is saying, I woulda done the same thing and this and that. If that happens anywhere else everyone will be saying, " that never happens at LSU". Everyone somes to down play this b/c it is at LSU. I dont want you to take this the wrong way. Its more of a question. I'm asking the Tiger nation why that is. We had the story today, but werent sure on it. Someone had told us it wasnt chase so we didnt break it.

Simply brilliant. Yet another attempt by an 18 year old know-it-all to find some fault with LSU fans.

Good Lord, do you EVER have an opinion on ANYTHING that you don't attempt to twist into some bull**** "logic" which attempts to portray LSU fans in a negative light?

To even attempt to equate an incident where an LSU football player defended a woman to some of the crap (rape, burglary, dope) that has been going on at some other schools such as Ole Miss, Tennessee, or South Carolina is nothing more than looking for something to be negative about.

Is this situation a great one? No. However, if the incident happened according to the reports, the guy got what he deserved. By the way, I do think that most men would come to the aid of a woman who was being harrassed or groped in public. Perhaps not "Scrappy" but most probably would.

Of course fans want to down play what happens at their own school. Tennessee fans think they are Rose Bowl bound & that their players are just being college kids. :hihi: The difference is, 1) the sheer numbers of players getting in trouble at LSU compared to other schools and 2) the things this LSU player got in trouble for compared to other athletes at different schools.

I honestly believe that an isolated incident like this at another SEC school would not be looked at very seriously by LSU or any other fans. So, it's not just LSU fans ignoring what's going on. If we start seeing more of this type of thing then LSU fans will have something to start thinking about, but right now, LSU is doing great with it's athletes not getting in trouble - especially compared to a few other programs.

Probably because people had been posting it in rumor form this afternoon but without any links or articles to support it at the time.
