The name is creationism...........not evolutionism. Scientists believe the earth started from a "Big Bang" But in school they teach it as a theory and then context 2 is evolution with about a million+1 gaps or no explanation. I justw ant to know how Red comes up with evolution dissolves creationism into a myth? IMO, it doesn't.
And you must feel honored to be in the percentage that chose the right God... And about what martin said in his reply, I agree. Life is much easier for christians. Actually having to deal with things instead of leaving it to God can be tough, that's how crutches work.
We deal with plenty. It must be nice to be able to give in to every temptation in life. It's not a crutch, it's peace.
wow... this has to be the most overdone topic on message boards EVER (besides abortion) Simply put, you just have to agree to disagree. You have to admire someone if they feel strongly either way. whether you believe god did everything, or if we came by bang bang then fish then monkeys, its always going to be about faith. this topic should really end though before it "de-evolves" into a namecalling, caps lock shouting match. :thumb:
Christians don't leave anything to God. God helps those who help themselves. What do you think Christians leave up to God? Like educating our children, like paying the housenote, getting a job, paying bills? No, that's what more people who don't believe in God do.
