    1) have loved the song for a LOOOONNGGGGG time (and I love the verse)

    2) The SEC West IS the best.

    3) The West Coast is a fun place to play. Have lived here for 26 years
and married a Cali girl 15 years ago. She likes to explore out here as much as I do. (I.E. Microbreweries, hiking trails, live music, restaurants, road trips)
There is a tremendous amount of things to do here.

Still, I will ALWAYS miss BR and South La as long as I live here.

The people, the food, the fun times.

I WILL live be there again someday :thumb:

Not as nervous as it makes me when I read in SI that our MEN'S basketball team was ranked 8th (for next season) under the condition that Bass stayed.... Also, with Neltner leaving, I'm sure that 8 spot won't hold....

The general consensus I keep seeing and reading (aside from enlightened places like National Champs.net) seems to have LSU outside of the top 5 looking in.

I'd say (in no order) Texas, USC, Ohio St, Tenn and Michigan is your top 5.

Seventh sounds about right, and keep in mind that a win over Tennessee alone (especially if they're undefeated after the Florida game) coupled with the fact that either Texas or Ohio St will lose in September puts LSU maybe as high as #3 by the end of September.
