I think he will make the top ten after only two years. I could be wrong, but if he does, that has got to be some kind of record. How do you figure? Miles can't make the top ten in total wins for many years. He's already in the top 10 for winning percentage, but that is likely to drop this year with the tough road games..
Well, if he wins 10 games like I expect, he will be the only LSU coach ever to have two 10 win seasons in a row. That has to count for something. But if we don't win the SEC, it'll be tough to put him in the top 3. So with a 10 win, non SECCG season, I say he jumps to number 4 or 5.
Mine was. How else could we do it? Miles shouldn't be ranked lower just because he hasn't been here as long & thus not capable of winning as many games. And a ranking of pure winning percentage doesn't take into account whether it was one game or 1 decade, or whether there were any championships won. Why bother asking where he will be ranked based on total wins, when all that is really asking is "how many games will we win next season?" - which has already been discussed quite frequently.
Actually, Miles will be in the Top 10 for total wins if he wins 12 or more games this year according to the rankings in the first post.
