Those long passes (Air McNair Type ) passes that is what we need . I like Vandy,I guess because Vandy is the weakest team in the SEC , that has not changed . What I would like to see is this LSU team find itself , and make its mind up as to what it wants to do . Back to the long pass we seem to be able to throw the ball 70 yards only to have it go incomplete or have it intercepted . I can't even beat my 6 yo in Mario Cart, never seen more than the box of those sports games. What I am saying is LSU has so many weapons that are not used to dictate the pace of the game. Moreso, I don't think the offensive staff does enough to make the D defend the entire field each play. Your offense has the players and speed to score on any play. Use the speed to stress the D, they will break. In a nutshell, I don't think you are aggressive enough. The short passes that people complete against you when the corners are playin soft can be addressed with DE dropping into passing lanes. Do it enough to make the QB look for it, it will disrupt the pattern.
Vandy's coach already said that he will not kick to Skyler. I'm sure that the ball will be in his hands a lot though.
