The Cotton Bowl is at 1:00 this year. I'd rather play one of the Big 12 teams in the Cotton Bowl than one of the horrible ACC teams in the Chick-fil-A bowl.
Well thats good news. However, I still hate that bowl. Plus Im not so sure the game will be fun to watch.
Cotton Bowl usually has real $hitty weather. We should get a better bowl than South Carolina unless they win out which is unlikely. I want a Florida bowl.
Agreed. Went to the 2003 Cotton Bowl. The stadium is old and worn out, and the trip as a whole was terrible. And to top it all off we lost to Texas. A 1:00 game might make it a little better... but not enough for to prefer the Cotton Bowl over the Chick-fil-a (Peach) Bowl. Out of personal preference I'd choose the Capital One, but that's not looking likely.
You mean 2001 Cotton... I'd take an ACC match up in the Peach...just because we need the W. Not saying we couldn't beat a Big 12 school in the Cotton...but I'm sure it wouldn't be as easy. We still have to beat Ole Piss and the Hogs first though...
Outback Bowl guys were talking to Les after last night's game. Cotton, Peach and Cap One there, too. But Outback seemed to be most interested.
After driving to Gainesville, and then to Disney the following week, I'm tired of going to Florida this year.
