This game means less than squat. If, and that's a big IF the D might want to see if they can contain LJ, other than that this is all about what's in the goodie bag. We won't gain or lose a single recruit based on the outcome of this game nor does it give us any indication about the future of LSU Football. None, nada, nothing.

Disagree. A win is better than a loss for the general prestige of the program and Eaux, who could both use a boost (though the Canada hiring was a pretty good boost). There was always an intangible benefit when Miles won vs lost bowl games, an ambient feeling of vigor or malaise. To all the people grumpy that we didn't get PJ Fleck, this might brighten their outlook a bit.
