What do you think of the new bats.

I like gorilla ball. It's exciting to know that with a couple runs down late in the game doesn't take 4 or 5 batters in a row to catch fire to win the game. It also brings the cream of the crop pitchers to the top to stop that.

Exactly. California will never allow america to change to wood bats. Too many trees being "killed"

    ***Bat Update**

Just came from a tournament in Dallas. There was a "rip it" rep selling bats there. Yes I know funny name but a damn hot bat. I can only hope LSU at least tries them out. Compared to other BBCOR bats I have seen this thing is in a league of its own. Grey took BP with it in the cage and wanted one on the spot. This thing is live. Only draw back is it is loud, very loud ping. Primate baseball may be on the return.

Just get rid of the balls, bats and gloves... Then we could bring in a big red rubber ball and go back to elementary basics: kickball.

    C'mon now.

MANY marijuana trees are sacrificed every year in Cali to take care of those in dire need of their medicinal drug of choice.

Yeah, but what you're describing isn't baseball. Gorilla ball was a joke.

I like how the game is played. I wish they could hit a few more homeruns, but it is better than having games where an 8 run lead is not enough.

The rule change with the bats was brought on mostly by the agents/scouts. Yeah yeah safety scmafety, they had to find a way to let pitchers own the plate again and the agents were tired of signing guys that hit 40 dingers a year and watching them go .148 with a wood bat. With that said, this new rip it model is a big step in the right direction. Lots of good reviews and I have seen it in action. I just hope Easton and the other big boys don't get it outlawed.
