It's all about the TEAM Down 14-0 and Lee being in there today, I would have been freaking out. Honestly.
That's ridiculous... while JL did well with his remaining time here, he was just the Interim starting QB until JJ got back into the swing of things. The job was not his when he was forced to take it over. Besides anyone with a brain and working eyes can see that JJ gives this team the best chance to win. He's just proud to be a part of this Championship team.
Not sure Loco is saying that. I hope not. But yes, I can Lee not being too happy about things overall. I don't know the kid. Hard to say. He always says all the right things. I would hope he is on board to get his 2nd championship ring in 5 years. He saved our season early on with JJ out. He is an integral part of what has transpired.
As I said earlier, with the pressure that was getting to JJ, Lee would've been toast as he doesn't have the leg ability to get him out of that pressure. He's easily rattled when he gets pressured and Miles knew it'd be a tough game for him so he went with the best option at QB. I'm sure JL will see some action against UGA and in the NC... But there was too much riding on this game to put an immobile QB in there. Lee is about the TEAM and realizes this as well.
I was upset that JL didn't get in earlier. Early in the game I said dial up some passes or put JL in. They dialed up passes, I was happy. But when we were blowing them out early in the 4th, CLM should have given Lee some time, some props for what he did for the team this year. I'm not a JJ hater or a Lee lover, but I know I would be disappointed if I was Lee. Lee, know this, true LSU fans know you saved our season and you will not be forgotten!
