What freshman would you most like....

    Did anyone also here about Clayton moving over the defensive side of the ball for the 2003 season?

    everything I am hearing is that Clayton will be a two way player next year. Saban has made comment many times about how much better he is at defense. I think we will see him in the game on defense in all nickel and dime situations.

    This should not affect his offensive production though, he is used to being on the field for the full 60. In high school he never came off the field. Quarterback/receiver on offense, safety on defense, and returned both punts and kicks.

    I can remember reading on Dandy Don that Clayton was a great defensive back in high school, and he would really come up and hit people.
    I think you are right that he may be in the nickle or dime defense next year as well as wide receiver.
