You have to give schedule heavy weight when answering this question.

That being said, I think Tennessee will, once we look back at the 2005, season, be the most overrated "big" game on the schedule.

LSU is set up perfectly for that game, with an offweek before that game. Tune up vs N Tx and a good, tough second game vs Az St. is nice, plus the LSU game comes a week after UT hits the road for Gainsville.

    Nice.

I guess I'd point to that Florida game. Hopefully, this team can get over the bullsh*t of underestimating teams in 2004 and playing down to the level of their competition (see Oregon St and Troy). They have a golden opportunity to hang 10 or 11 wins on the wall, but that won't materialize if they don't take the one game at a time aproach the 2003 team took.

Without a doubt, Alabama. We have lost to them so many times, we'll never break even. I always worry about Alabama!

Tennessee, Florida, and Bama are all going to be real challenges. Out of those three I've gotta go with Da Gators!!!

Bama has my attention. A healthy Brodie Croyle and their running game back will make for a much better team. TN would be the toughest, but I think back to back away games vs. Fla and us is too much to overcome.

    Florida.

Arizona State's a good attention grabber, but beating Purdue does not diminsh the ugly loss to Arizona (rivarly or not, we play ugly against Toolame, but we do not lose. Arizona was not a powerhouse by any stretch). Too much talent, too humid, too loud, TWO-and-OH.

Tennessee? I've posted what I think about that.

Florida. They play well in Baton Rouge every time, maybe too well.

yea the last two years FLA has done pretty well versus us, they were the only team to beat us in 2003, and had 2 different 14 point leads on us last year until choking it away, a more mature Chris Leak is going to be very dangerous

I gotta say that Bama, Florida, and Ole Myth scare me. I know Ole Myth is down on talent, but they always play us close. Florida isprobably down, but you know they always think they can beat us. Bama is a rivallry game. You can throw the records out when LSU and Bama meet.

    2005 SCHEDULE

09/03/05 - North Texas - Baton Rouge, La.

    Offensive wrinkles aplenty.

09/10/05 - Arizona State - Baton Rouge, La.

    Not a rent-a-win for sure.

    09/24/05 - Tennessee - Baton Rouge, La.

Tennessee plays HUGE on the road. Welcome to the SEC Mr. Miles. This is your answer, Marine Tiger. This game will probably be a toss-up. If LSU cannot pass effectively, Tennessee will win.

Did you see Tennessee play in 2004? Who did they stop on the ground? Not Vandy? Not UK? Not ND? Where is this Rocky Top Lovefest coming from? Please tell me the Cotton Bowl, so I can go off on a$m, too.

If LSU had QB play like we did in the 2nd half in Orlando, only UGA would have beaten us, LSU would win the west, and we damned sure would have had our second SEC title win against Tennessee!

Tennessee is going to visit Tiger Stadium one week after Florida opens a HUGE can of whooppass on these over-rated bunch of moonshiners! They're gonna finish 3rd in the east.
