1. Just wondering what everyone go to pistol is for road trips/in town driving?

I have a glock19. Was thinking of something a tad smaller to hide easy.

    Anyone have the Ruger LCP?
  2. Before the tragic boating accident I had a Springfield Armory Hellcat, loved it

  3. i have a car now, dont ride the motorbike every day. i have a ruger ECP in between the seat and console.

i also have some nicer pistols, like a m&P shield and a beretta but i like how the safety funtions on the ruger, guns without safeties make me nervous, as i am a pussy and not a hard military nigga like you guys
  4. Yea. I went and looked at a few today. This is strictly for the truck so I want a safety. Ruger was nice but I really liked the Beretta 9m.

I was thinking I wanted something small, but I didn’t like the pistols that weren’t longer than the palm of my hand.
  5. the beretta nano? i almost bought that but i went with the even smaller pico which is maybe the smallest thing out there.

i like ruger ECP because i am a cheapskate and a i saved a few bucks becuase its cheap. its cheap because it doesnt have fancy sights and is a remake of an old design.

who uses sights on a personal protection pistol? you just point it at bad guy and pull trigger. if he is so far away that you need to sight him up, then just run away!

i also have the shield and its a well respected and nice piece of machinery. mine has no safety and like i said before i am a pussy about that. i will shoot it at the range, but wont carry it or have it in the car where my friends kid could grab it.

  6. I cannot stress this enough

SHOOT THEM BEFORE YOU BUY THEM!!!!

How it feels or how it looks mean zero vs how it feels in your hand when a round is heading the other way. There are tons of places that should allow you to shoot anything you want if you are a serious buyer.
  7. Glock 26 (subcompact 9mm), Springfield XD (compact 4” .45), Glock 29 (subcompact 10mm), Walther PPS (subcompact single stack 9mm), Keltech (subcompact single stack .32). Guns are tools, been carrying the Walther PPS more lately.

  9. Oh yeah... never leave guns in the car. When I worked at a gun store, twice a month someone would need to buy a new gun cause it was stolen from their car.
