I PROMISE I am not bashing or grinning.....I saw a magizine this very morning called "Catalog Favorites." POBox 3335, Chelmsford, Ma. 01824-0935 or online @www.catalogfavorites.com....there is a t-shirt for sale that is in LSU purple. It says,......"put on your BIG-GIRL PANTIES...and deal with it." I thought to myself, "Sure wouldn't want that if LSU loses today. :tigbas:
No one has mentioned Texas A$M fired Mark Johnson, their winningest coach in anything Monday. They will most likely go after the Fulerton coach, who'll make a little noise then fizzle. Fullerton, on the other hand will bring in another coach and return to their merry winning ways. Folks seem to hire away our assistants or former players, must be due to the fact our head coach is so bad...
My turn... Is Smoke a good coach? Yes. Is Smoke a great coach? Yes. Is Smoke the coach that will continue LSU's dominant, winning tradition? Dominant, No. Winning, Yes. Has this team grown and improved? No. Is this team playing as good as they're capable? Not by a long shot. Will LSU make it past their regional? Yes. Will LSU make it past a Super? Yes. I'm a lifelong LSU fan as well and spent 4 years working with the baseball program including trips to SEC tourneys, Super Regionals, and the CWS.
Hey now! I do believe a GREAT coach can LOSE every once in a while. And I will not point fingers and blame one person. Losing in baseball is a culmination of several factors. I also do not believe that this team has played up to their potential or that they have grown and improved. That doesn’t mean he’s not trying to find the right setup- a sign of a great coach. Yes, I respect Smoke dearly as both a person and coach. I know there is a method to his madness.
Unforntunately, even tho we are the best in Ncaa baseeball we all have a tendency to fall behind in a few aspects.. remember the 3PEAT?. Even when i was attending and playing for LSU we went 3 times in 10 years the.. The 3 Year Split was what we called it...... it took us a few years each time but we MADE IT and we stayed strong....Brandon Larson Todd Walker told me what night after practice that if we never make in to the CWS again at least we had you time in the sun.... now look at em.. MAjorleagues and still Dominating.. LSU BASEBALL WILL never DIE we may have a split or spell but as i alwys say..."IT'S JUST A MINOR SETBACK TO A MAJOR COMEBACK..." WE LOVE OUR TIGERS RIGHT?? SO LETS LET EM BE BOYS AND LET EM TAKE US BACK TO OMAHA MAYBE REL SOON>>>> we WILL GO BACK:geauxtige
Dude, don't tell anyone you graduated from LSU. I'm just kidding!:hihi: Welcome aboard. Did you say that you played for the Tigers? What years?
