GREAT QUOTE! ALL OF THESE SMOKE MYOPIONS NEED TO REALIZE WE HAVE HIGHER STANDARDS FOR LSU BASEBALL. DO YOU THINK IF COACH K'S REPLACEMENT AT DUKE WOULD GET TO TOURNEY AND LOSE IN FIRST ROUND EVERY YEAR THEY WOULD BE HAPPY, NO. AND WE ARE THE DUKE OF COLLEGE BASEBALL. WE NEED HIGHER STANDARDS. SMOKE LOST ME IN HIS FIRST SEASON WHEN WE WERE LOSING GAMES AND HE WAS ASKED WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS? YOU KNOW WHAT HIS RESPONSE WAS " WHAT DO YOU ME TO DO ABOUT?" WELL YOU ARE THE COACH, WHO ELSE IS GOING TO DO SOMETHING.
1. I stopped Smoke bashing half way through the season, got positive and rolled with the punches. 2. We play ****ty baseball in "Big Games" 3. Smoke is worse then Richard Simons at motivating a team, especially when he tells them SEC Tourney isnt important. 4. This team wont make it past Supers unless the NCAA blesses us with the Beat up Baylor Super and we still may lose. 5. Dont defend Smoke anymore, he is a great baseball mind, but a terrible coach. P.S. - take your SEC Championship (w/ Skips players) and your 2 CWS APPEARANCES to bed with you, I hope they keep you warm at night... as for me, its more fun watching Tennessee, Ole Miss, Florida, Bama play baseball in the Tourney cuz we bleaux goat di ck. Flame all you want cuz you cant say sh i t.
and who exactly is responsible for the faulty product you've obviously become? I'd be more concerned about that than a baseball team. Also, do you have a community college degree and exactly what does that entail? just always wondered. no big deal.
Dollar High Lifes at Rooftop, what can I say... beer helps me not assasiinate Smoke and Hebert. (that was a joke)
Smoke: good baseball mind. Horrible motivator and manager. I'm positive we'll still get a regional, because there is really nobody in the country that can guarantee more ticket sells to the NCAA. Probably be paired with Baylor or Tulane.
Coach K would be fired at LSU. Only 3 NCs in 25 years and none since 2001 ... not acceptable at LSU! We demand national championships every couple of years...
True Story- While dining out in Omaha last summer during the CWS a few bat girls and I ended up sitting next to a very arrogant Miami player. He was attempting to talk to us about the quality of the Miami baseball program. We we're too interested but he proceeded to say that Miami's program is equivalent to the Yankees of college ball. Without missing a beat, one of the girls responded "Oh, so you pay millions for all of your players?" We couldn't stop laughing!
Sorry to see LSU eliminated in the SEC but the NCAA tourney is a chance to start over. It just hasn't been a good year or Tiger BB, yours or mine. Looks like Auburn may get in the NCAA though for what that's worth. If so, I doubt they last long.
