What??   Is that why we're 10-1 and are the No.1 team in the nation? Credibility lost. You're dismissed.
Did you watch the game idiot? Our defense gave up 466 yards to a crappy ass Ole Miss team. A team that hasn't won a SEC game in 2 years.
 Still level headed, just not impressed with Stanford smack. I've mentioned our loss to the Furd here at least half a dozen times including the night we lost and it was painful indeed. For that matter, a loss to ucla kept us out of the big dance last year so it's not like I'm a stranger to poor field performance or upsets. My original post was all about the facts. :thumb:
I think it was one bad game with a ton of that yardage that came on busted plays. C. Jackson mistimed his jump on the long pass play. And, coverage was so good that it forced Schaefer to run (successfully) a few times. D-line is banged up and that is why we haven't been able to get pressure, so that is a source of concern, but I think we have enough left to get by Ark and UT. After that, we'll have a rested, healthy D for the NC game. If Kentucky beats UT on Sat., then UGA will post a more significant threat to us with the injuries on the D-line
And, actually, it wasn't THAT bad of a game. We had to go to overtime to beat this team (IN TIGER STADIUM) last year, and four of those players went to the NFL in the first round. I'd say it was our defense's worst game, but that still doesn't mean they sucked. In fact, they came through with some turnovers, at least two of them manufactured. :geaux:
And we still pulled out a convincing win.....and we are #1 in the nation after running the gauntlet that is the sec(almost, not forgetting about arky and seccg). Quit being a flamer complainer, cheer on your team. I don't know if you have checked, but yards don't show up on the scoreboard:wink:
I think that the CB's have struggled...Zenon was much better last year, Jackson is playing about the same...Also the injuries have been the biggest problem...With the corners struggling, Pellini can't be blitzing too much, so they need to play more zone defense...That means, that we are not putting too much pressure on the QB...With all the struggles, I still think that we can win the championship with this defense, especially with the way our offense has been playing lately...They're putting up 40 points per game, which is more thatn enough to win a game.
DOTB - what's clear to me is that the little dude in your signature line is taking a terrible risk with this week's urination...hard to even look at!
