1. yeah the Kiffen/O combo worked so well at USC.

  2. Good point
  3. Even if Kiffin comes here, it won't be for long. He wants a HC job. Then what?

Epic failure by this completely inept administration.
  4. They just needed a bit of rearranging is all.

  5. Can't you make that argument with almost any successful OC? If he leaves, then so be it. We'll ride success while we can.
  6. True.

But hire Herman and you don't have to worry about that.
  7. Exactly this!

This was an excellent decision. Players obviously love to play hard for Coach O, his recruiting is legendary, his commitment to Louisiana is unquestionable, and he surely comes at a lower price to a cash-strapped state than those glamor boys. What's more... no way we could have forgiven a loss to SMU, as did Tom Herman, whose luster is even a bit more tarnished after yesterday's loss to Memphis.

I am very excited about the future of LSU football.

  8. The glory days for LSU football could have lasted longer if Miles would have been let go sooner and a competent AD would have brought a worthy HC into the program. O is a stop leak not the answer.

  9. Curious to other feelings on this...could you see Kiffen taking a Houston like job or is his ego too big for that? He hasn't been offered a big HC job in years and it could be coming but I think it would have to be the right 1st tier HC job which don't grow on trees.
  10. Peveto is gone based on what I heard and that would be with any hire we made.
