1. Which is why I said "rent-a-win" and "pretty good football team within their conference"... :grin:
  2. Lee running option out of pistol. If upcoming opponents never see him hoofing it they will put laser beams on his eyes and wait for the pass.

    It's been over fifty years since I played fb but don't they teach La. kids to keep their helmets down and not run straight up anymore when going into a hole? Shissh! If a LBer hadn't hit me then I'ld raise my head and go for daylight.

    Mr Bolt owns the 100m title. How about our backs run like the devil is chasing them and don't look back - they will catch you!

    If Hatch acquires the ability to pass into the cone of reception by leading just enough and getting his pass off quickly, he's the man.

    Lee would help himself by spotting defenders near primary/secondary receivers before releasing his pass; it would eliminate a tendency to pass into "blind" double coverage on our receivers. He has a strong arm but is no JR - not yet, anyway.

    Safeties/corners should "correct" another DB's mistake before it becomes a disaster.

    Finally, my pet peeve. How many games will the Tigers have to lose because no one is covering the center of the defensive backfield? Everytime it happens I 'flashback' to our loss to Florida in 2003 where it happened not once but twice. COVER THE MIDDLE DAMMIT.

    :crystal::helmet::helmet::crystal: :geaux:
  3. Did we lose to App St.?
  4. No, but we will lose to Auburn and others if there isn't some improvment.
    That said, I'm confident we will improve.:tigereye:
  5. Id like to see Lee read a defense and stop thinking that just because a timing route works in practice it will work 100% of the time in a real game.
    Stop staring down receivers on a slant pattern because they are easy to pick off, he almost had 3 ints if they guys could catch the ball from Appy St. (not impressed with him at all)

    Hatch is the guy, although he showed he doesnt have the required arm strenght to go deep. Hatch has the ability to save a play and make something out of it. I like the way he played.

    The secondary blew a few coverages, but Jai, looked good, he has improved alot. The defensive line is amazing, no one will be able to stop them, even the guys who play on the second team.
