I still think we have the chance to have a remember able year. No one goes undefeated in the SEC. LSU had the best team in the land last year and they lost to a pissy FL. team. I think AU will lose soon. All we need to do is take care of business and start another win streak. It's not over till the FAT MAN PHUCKS.

Yeah I think he would have scored a TD on every drive after. NOT! IM just saying that he was hot and he should have come back on the field for the second series.

I think the point he (and others) are trying to make is that Randall should've been sent out there on the 2nd drive to see if he could continue the momentum. I don't think anyone, possibly even the coaching staff, expected Randall to look THAT good on the opening drive.

We're second guessing every conceivable decision because the worst case scenario happened. We lost. I still trust Saban but personally would have sent Randall out for another series. If he struggled on the 2nd series, Russell's ready for the next one.

I kind of agree that Russell should be the #1 guy but the Auburn game just made the decision a little tougher. I can see the reasoning behind playing both guys. Hopefully one will separate soon and be the leader that the offense needs.

I don't know why Saban is spoon feeding Russ. It would have been great for Russ to get a start in his home town. I say throw him to the dawgs. Thats what NCAACF is all about.

I can see putting him in for the 2nd series. I wish he would have, then there would not be the second guessing about all of this.

this is the best post I've seen around here in a long time.
its time some of the cry babies grow up! :dis:

We WILL kick some serious ASS next year if we don't do as good this year.
I'm hanging my hat on that! :thumb:

BTW 1 drive=1 drive, nothing more...
If Randall was more consistant JR wouldn't have as much PT

That's it exactly. other than Spurrier, I've never heard of giving a guy one drive and pulling him after a td. On the other hand, giving him 15 plays, based on past performance, he could have been picked three times and we could have been down 21-0 by then. I've never bought into that scripted stuff, I've always thought you have to go by how the game is playing out. But, Saban gets paid to coach the team, not me. I buy my tickets, so I do think I have the right to gripe every now and then. Even so, I still haven't done enough griping to get my money's worth from the Lou Tepper days, as short-lived as they were. :cuss:
