I remember those years, because that was when I was at LSU. I like to refer to those years as the "passing stats seasons", because back then most LSU fans cared more about passing stats than actually winning the games. Well, it wasn't that bad . . . but you guys know how memories work. :)

I have to admit, I can't imagine what it would be like to go to LSU right now, with Saban running the show and LSU a fixture in the top 25. It has to be heady days for these students . . . and a lot fun. Enjoy it guys, I know we did back then and we were no where near NC level.

Well if Russell would have come in and drove us to another TD, all we would be talking about is how brilliant Saban is for switching it up on their defense. We would have been saying that it was smart to swap qbs so that their defense would be confused, but Russell didn't lead us to a score so now all we can do is criticize his decison. Like someone said before, hindsight is always 20/20. We learn from our mistakes and great coaches are no exception to this. You can be sure that Saban learned something from that game and it only made him a better coach. :geaux:

Something tells me that coach Saban didn't learn too much from the AU game, word on the street is both QB's are going to play AGAIN.

Maybe sabanfan and ramah are happy w/our coach and our 1 NC. They except his indecisive offensive planning in 2004 and are happy we don't have those sucky coaches of yesteryear.

That’s not good enough for me Smoke. We could beat any team in the top 25 and we blew it against Auburn. Saban recruited the best players in the nation hands down! I'll be dammed if IM going to sit on the side and watch this team go to 5h!t b/c Saban won't bench Randall or go with Russ. Coach pull the thumb out of your @SS and make a decision!

It's not about being spoiled it's about football pride.

We take LSU more seriously then the Presidential election in Louisiana and our politics show it.

We have a great team this year but we can’t afford bone head mistakes or it’s going to be a long frustrating year.

CUZ you don't honestly think Saban is happy with 1 NC do ya??

Let the man do what he feels is right.
This program is in good hands and working on being an elite program for a long time. One game does not a season make.
