Damn! We 'ought to talk to MSU about the condition of their walkway leading to the locker room! I mean, for him to tweak it when he went to the locker room is dangerous!
Gordy Rush was talking about this on the radio show tonight he tweaked/pulled his groin in the walk through yesterday. He said it was a freak accident. They hope he can be ready for the FL game. For those who want to hear what he said the will replay the show tomorrow morning from 8am to 10 am on eagle981.com
Agreed. I wish someone could find a reliable source to clear this up. If true, not good, even if it is only pulled.
My buddy and his dad work the sidelines for home games - buddy takes pics and his dad is the one who calls the injuries up to the pressbox. Early tweaked his groin in practice, while running some kind of trick play. Severity not known at this point.
the advocate said the injury happened friday at practice why cant we have responsible people representing lsu? fans should have been notified of early's condition!:angryfire i didnt know not to start early in the tf fantasy league.
Actually, as discussed in a Flynn-related thread yesterday, it's probably illegal (as in, it violates federal law) for the coaching staff to discuss an athlete's injury without the express consent of the athlete.
Early could not have gone if needed vs. MTSU. He'll be out multiple weeks. The only things that can stop LSU are injuries and arrogance. Here come the injuries.
I hope with rest he will be ok, maybe sit out against South Carolina and Tulane, and be ready for Florida. :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
Re: Does anyone here know? Not on broadcast. Buddy of mine was in the Athletic Dept suite last night and I asked where Doucet was. He replied that he didn't know and then later on said he found out it was "torn groin". And this was from a reliable source in the athletic department. Everyone recovers differently. A strain/pull/tear are all different levels of severity of the same injury. Muscle fibers were torn. How many nobody knows. Don't shoot the messenger. I hope he might be able to play by the Florida game.
