He appeared to be walking okay on that video. I suppose with a groin injury it's the starts and stops, change in direction, etc., that could be the issue (I'm certainly not an expert on this, either). Better to play it safe, for sure. Just hope he's okay for the Florida game and beyond. :geauxtige
An unspecified groin injury where it "just popped" sounds like a possible hernia. Those are usually in the abdominal, groin area. If that's the case, surgery and then six weeks to heal. He wouldn't be 100 percent again until January. Also, CLM is sounding less and less confident about the status of Flynn. Florida looms.
seems clear Early is out for a while...flynn may miss one more week but I'd be very surprised if he missed UF - he's waited too long for this type of game
CFB Live says Early had an MRI on his lower abdomen. But probabaly that it is precautionary although he will be out. Looks like Lafell will need to step it up these next few weeks.
Is it just me or does this seem familiar, as in 2003 when we lost our two top running backs before the SC game and everyone was kind of worried, then we had two no-name freshman step up. Only difference is the positions, and the guys backing them up arn't really no-name guys, and the guys have a little more game-time experience under there belts. I think we are gonna be ok. The coaches will do their job, and we will enjoy another win in Tiger Stadium.
What will that make it, 15 straight? 2 under the Tiger Stadium all time record of 17. It's great to be a Tiger fan.
Doucet 07 = Joe Horn 06 We all know how tough Horn is. This is a tough injury. If we're VERY lucky, we have him vs. Satan in Nov. Flynn should sit until UF.
