written by ian caldwell and dustin thomason. they are 2 princeton grads. the story involves 4 princeton students and 2 of them trying to decipher an ancient book. i thought it is really cool because they go into great detail discribing life at Princeton and the hardships of being a student. The book they are trying to decipher is really wild

I read Angels and Demons and was going to start reading Da Vinci code, however after reading the summary about Da Vinci it seems like it is the exact same book as Angels and Demons. A murder leads to looking for clues from old artists who are in a secret society. Is it still worth reading?

I would definitely recommend it. I personally thought Angels and Demons was a little better than the Da Vince Code. I don't wanna say too much and give it away but if you enjoyed Angels and Demons I would say read the Da Vinci Code for sure.....and that goes for everyone.... :thumb:

If you want a story that is written the same way instead but with a different angle....I say read Digital Fortress by the same author.

I enjoyed A&D and Digital Fortress both more than I did 'The Da Vinci Code' .

I'm finally finishing the 'Dark Towers' series by Stephen King.

I thought the Da Vinci Code was a great story, but Brown lost me when he changed his tune and started saying he based it on true events.
